Who am I?
Mike Bayfield
I'm a British creative director and copywriter, based in the Netherlands and Germany.
With twenty years experience in some of the worlds leading agencies – like Ogilvy, BBDO, and Wunderman Thompson – I write, direct, and lead international teams to create world-class communications, for some of the world’s big-name brands.

Automotive, pharma, financial services, FMCG and more, I’ve created 360 campaigns and content across all social, digital and traditional channels.
​
In addition, I’ve produced live and virtual events, such as the global launch of Calantic for Bayer: a pioneering new platform for AI in radiology. We created the brand from scratch, and the launch campaign, with an industry-first, live-broadcast event in New York.
I work at the highest levels, collaborating closely with senior colleagues, partners and C-level clients: developing strategy, leading presentations and winning pitches. I’ve also won over 40 international awards – including Cannes Gold and Silver Lions, One Show Gold and Silver Pencils and D&AD.

Still buzzing with as much energy and enthusiasm as the day I started, I’m just as happy getting my hands dirty, writing and creating, as I am inspiring and leading other creatives to do the same.

And, when I'm not doing that, I'm writing screenplays and novels. Four screenplays so far, and just finished my first novel. Second one on the way.
