Virgin Money – Wonga

Virgin Money wanted grow sales by cross-selling other products to their customer base, in a unique (and fun) Virgin way. So, I created the concept and wrote the copy for this CRM mailer. `

‘Wonga’ is a well-known English slang word for money. It also sounds like the kind of tropical island pirates might have buried their treasure on. The mailer folded out into a ‘treasure map’ introducing the other products, using a tongue-in-cheek pirate theme and salty language.
